Mystic — CUSH, Clean Up Sound and Harbors, will host, “From the Ground to the Sound: Earth-Friendly Landscaping for Cleaner Water,” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 25 at the Mystic Arts Center, 9 Water St.
Michael Nadeau, founder of Holistic Land Care Consulting, will give a free workshop about creating rain gardens, coastal buffers and other landscapes that beautify property and also protect area waters. He will talk about recognizing potential problem areas; use of pesticides and fertilizers, how to build and maintain landscapes that create lasting beauty and protection.
